Camping

The District of Squamish Municipal Campgrounds, located within approximately 300 yds of the racing venue, have been reserved for the whole weekend. Although there are no hook-ups, water and porta potties will be on site. There is also an RV sani-station nearby. The rate for camping has yet to be finalised; payment will be made with your registration package.

The campgrounds will serve as the headquarters for the entire event. There is a small cooking pavilion at the campgrounds and a dining tent will be set up beside it. All meals will be served there. This will definitely be the place to be!

The campgrounds have been reserved for our exclusive use from Thursday noon until Monday noon.

The bear population has expanded and campgrounds, with their smell of food, are a favourite spot for these furry fellows. Please do not leave ANY FOOD out. Keep all food in coolers or containers and were possible keep coolers/containers in your vehicle at night.

As seen in the map below, the campgrounds are within easy walking distance to the aquatic centre, where one can use the showers and, of course, have a swim if one wishes for a nominal fee. As mentioned above, there will be porta potties available right on site at the campgrounds but plumbed washrooms are also available in the civic centre and the aquatic centre.
